Accommodation

Main Camp - Dormitory/Cabin Block/ Portable Bunkrooms

Sleeping up to 118 in bunkbeds, the Main Camp includes three accommodation areas:

• Main Building Dormitory: 4 rooms with 8 beds and 1 room with 6 beds

• Cabin Block: 10 rooms with 8 beds each

• Portable Bunkrooms: 3 rooms with 8 beds each

Bathrooms for the cabin block and portable bunkrooms are in a nearby building; while dormitory bathrooms are located inside the Main Building.

Mattresses are provided, but guests must bring their own bedding (including pillows) and towels. Radiator heaters are available as needed.

Tents

We have an area where tents can be put up. It’s close to the toilet and shower block.

Caravans

We have 8 powered-sites for caravans.

Bush Huts

For the more adventurous we have four simple cabins (three walls, a floor and a roof) where you can share the pine forest with the possums and wetas. There is one toilet and we can organise for portaloos (but that will be at your expense).

Monavale Cottages & Cabins

Sleeping up to 44, the Monavale Cottage area is made up of two types of accommodation:

• Cottages: 2 bedrooms sleeping 7.
• Cabins: 4 bunks (8 beds) in a single room

Each cottage has two toilets/bathroom, with one of them having a shower. One of the cottages has an oven; all have microwave ovens, jugs and toasters. The beds have a mattress protector, bring your own bedding or linen is available for an additional fee. We provide hand towels, tea towels and bathmats but you will need to bring your own towels.
