Organisation

Chosen Valley Camp Trust is a registered charity governed by a Board of Trustees.

Mission

• to provide an opportunity for children to grow and learn holistically in a safe environment where they can experience a range of outdoor activities.
• to train young people to be leaders and provide practical leadership experience.

History

Prior to 1973, Chosen Valley was part of the farm of Brian and Nancy Smith. Brian and Nancy founded the camp in order to provide facilities for children (mainly city kids) to enjoy activities and teaching in a rural camp environment.
In 1993, Chosen Valley Camp Trust was established to administer the camp.
